Our macaw project is thriving. Earlier this year, communities along the river lost their crops due to flooding and were forced to hunt macaws for survival. With Calanoa’s support—food aid and a new vision—they are now protecting the macaws, guiding visitors, and sharing their ancestral knowledge.
